Summary:
Arthur was brought up by Sir Ector. When he was a young man, the King died. A very large stone with a great sword in it was prepared for to decide the next King. On the stone were these words: ONLY THE KING CAN TAKE THE SWORD FROM THE STONE. Nobody did it. But, accidentally, Arthur could take out the sword. Then, he became the King. He was good King. He made the Round Table. Nobody sat at top of round table and nobody sat at the bottom.
Bad witch tried to kill Arthur. But she couldn’t. Bad knights fought against Knights of the Round Table. But they lost. King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table flourished.
But, at last, many knights were dead and some knights went away. The end of the Round Table was coming. In a fight, Arthur was wounded, and he died.
Evaluation: 4 stars
Actually, this story is much longer than I read. I thought this story was already summarized in this book. So, it was hard to summarize this story. And, many character appeared one after another. I couldn’t remember names of them. But, this story was interesting.

APOLLO 13

Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert were astronauts of Apollo 13. They started for the Moon on April 11, 1970. But, on the second day of their trip, the command module’s machines went crazy. They were losing oxygen and power in space. They didn’t have much time, so they couldn’t go to the Moon. And they had to return to the Earth. Controllers worked hard on the problems in the simulator in Houston. Then they decided to fly their ship without the computer. It was the only way to return. At last, they were back on Earth safely.
Evaluation: 4 stars
I was excited constantly while I read this book. This book was based on a movie. So, there were many descriptions of sounds and scenes. They made this story more exciting.

FIVE CHILDREN AND IT

Summary:
Robert, Anthea, Jane, Cyril and a baby, their brother moved in an old house that was deep in the country.
The children dug a hole near their house. Then they found a strange creature, a sand-fairy. It could give one wish a day. So they went and met it everyday. The wish was only for a day, but they wished many things, to be very beautiful, to be very rich, to have wings to fly with, to be bigger than baker’s boy. But all wishes brought about trouble. They decided to wish for something for their mother. But the wish caused trouble too. So they wished a sand-fairy to solve this problem, and, after that, they quitted going and meeting it.
Evaluation: 5 stars
I could expect this story’s stream when I read introduction. But it was interesting. It was good that many pictures are in this book. Pictures were very helpful to image.
