Title: King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table

Summary:
Arthur was brought up by Sir Ector. When he was a young man, the King died. A very large stone with a great sword in it was prepared for to decide the next King. On the stone were these words: ONLY THE KING CAN TAKE THE SWORD FROM THE STONE. Nobody did it. But, accidentally, Arthur could take out the sword. Then, he became the King. He was good King. He made the Round Table. Nobody sat at top of round table and nobody sat at the bottom.
Bad witch tried to kill Arthur. But she couldn’t. Bad knights fought against Knights of the Round Table. But they lost. King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table flourished.
But, at last, many knights were dead and some knights went away. The end of the Round Table was coming. In a fight, Arthur was wounded, and he died.
Evaluation: 4 stars
Actually, this story is much longer than I read. I thought this story was already summarized in this book. So, it was hard to summarize this story. And, many character appeared one after another. I couldn’t remember names of them. But, this story was interesting.

APOLLO 13

Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert were astronauts of Apollo 13. They started for the Moon on April 11, 1970. But, on the second day of their trip, the command module’s machines went crazy. They were losing oxygen and power in space. They didn’t have much time, so they couldn’t go to the Moon. And they had to return to the Earth. Controllers worked hard on the problems in the simulator in Houston. Then they decided to fly their ship without the computer. It was the only way to return. At last, they were back on Earth safely.
Evaluation: 4 stars
I was excited constantly while I read this book. This book was based on a movie. So, there were many descriptions of sounds and scenes. They made this story more exciting.

The wish was only for a day, but they wished many things, to be very beautiful, to be very rich, to have wings to fly with, to be bigger than baker’s boy. But all wishes brought about trouble. They decided to wish for something for their mother. But the wish caused trouble too. So they wished a sand-fairy to solve this problem, and, after that, they quitted going and meeting it.
Evaluation: 5 stars
I could expect this story’s stream when I read introduction. But it was interesting. It was good that many pictures are in this book. Pictures were very helpful to image.

Claire stayed with her Aunt Min in a winter who lived in the village of Little Genny. Near her house there was Genny Castle. The villagers were afraid of the castle. About two hundred years ago, a witch was in the castle as a servant. When her master’s daughter was going to die, the witch never helped the daughter, because the witch’s sister was killed by her master before. And the witch was killed by her master too at the top of a tower of Genny Castle.
One night, Claire and her aunt walked near the castle through the snow and the wind. But her aunt too tired, so they went to Burge’s house which was near the castle. Mr. Burge wasn’t in his home. Claire looked for him and went up to the castle. Mr. Burge was at the top of a tower of Genny Castle and the ghost of the witch was there too. Claire said “Mr. Burge… Mr. Burge. It’s Claire.” Unexpectedly, Claire was the same as the name of the girl- the daughter of her master. So, the ghost was panicked. Then half of the tower began to fell down and the ghost disappeared. And nobody ever saw the ghost of Genny Castle again.
Evaluation: 4 stars
This is horrible but exciting story. But it was difficult to express it was horrible in Summary. This story is more horrible and exciting than my Summary.

DRAGONHEART

Young Prince Einon was stabbed into his heart. He was dying. His mother, Queen Aislinn asked The Great Dragon help, and the dragon gave the prince half of the dragon’s heart.
Some years later, Einon became a cruel king. He hated the peasants and killed them lightly. So, one of the king’s knight, Queen Aislinn, The Great Dragon and the peasants readied for fight against the king. And they won the fight. But the king with half of the dragon’s heart couldn’t die. He would only die when The Great Dragon die. The dragon wanted a knight to kill him. By mistake, the knight’s sword flew into the dragon’s heart. And the dragon and the cruel king were dead.
Evaluation: 3 stars
I like fantasy like this. But we can’t divide people between the good and the bad. So, I don’t like wars even it is the war to kill a cruel king. And, in this story, the peasants won the fight too easily. I want more devices.

The second of the ghosts was the Ghost of Christmas Now. The ghost showed him how he was not kind for others. The last of the ghosts was the Ghost of Future Christmas. The ghost showed him a sad possible future. Scrooge learned from three ghosts a lot. He could change the future. So, next day: Christmas Day, he changed himself. He became kind for others and always had a good time at Christmas.
Evaluation: 5 stars
This is a famous story, but I didn’t read it. This story says we have to be kind others and we can live happy lives. I think it is right. This book is very nice and interesting for me.

EAR-RINGS FROM FRANKFURT

Evaluation: 2 stars
This story was not interesting for me. The flow of it was too easy. I was bored, so writing summary was troublesome.
